The Exploring Sustainability seminar series continues this week with a presentation by Dr. Lesley Bulluck titled “Partnering with Private Landowners to Support Bird Conservation in the Appalachians.”
Dr. Bulluck will share insights into how collaborative partnerships with private landowners play a critical role in advancing bird conservation efforts across the Appalachian region. Her talk will explore the intersection of ecological research, community engagement and sustainable land management, highlighting how cross-sector collaboration can produce meaningful conservation outcomes.
The Exploring Sustainability series brings together scholars and practitioners to examine sustainability challenges from diverse perspectives. Each seminar features a 30-minute presentation followed by 30 minutes of audience Q&A, creating space for thoughtful dialogue and connection. Refreshments are provided.
