• Data Manager - Rice Rivers Center

  • Manage, analyze, and visualize environmental and geospatial data to support research and education at VCU’s Rice Rivers Center.

• Director of Development - School of Life Sciences & Sustainability

  • Build and manage relationships with major donors to support the Rice Rivers Center and SLSS, overseeing a portfolio of top prospects to secure significant gifts and advance the college's goals. 

• Operations Manager - Rice Rivers Center

  • The Rice Rivers Center seeks an on-site Operations Manager to oversee facility maintenance, coordinate logistics, support research activities, and ensure safe, efficient operations across VCU's 366-acre field station.

• Assistant Professor (Medical Microbiology) - School of Life Sciences & Sustainability

  • VCU seeks a faculty member to teach lecture and lab components of Medical Microbiology, primarily online, and possibly other related courses, fostering engaging, high-quality instruction for pre-health students. 

• Assistant Professor in Cellular, Molecular, and Development Biology - School of Life Sciences and Sustainability

• Assistant Professor in Earth System Science - School of Life Sciences and Sustainability

  • VCU invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Earth System Science to research large-scale environmental processes using modeling, remote sensing, or field studies, with opportunities at VCU’s Rice Rivers Center.

• Assistant Professor in Ecology - School of Life Sciences and Sustainability

  • VCU’s School of Life Sciences and Sustainability seeks a teaching-focused faculty member to teach undergraduate ecology and related courses, with opportunities for research and teaching at the Rice Rivers Center. Non-tenure-track, renewable.

• Postdoctoral Innovation Fellow (Environmental Sustainability) - Office of Innovation and Strategic Design

  • The fellow, co-advised by Dr. Chris Gough and Dr. Garret Westlake, works for 1–3 years advancing Shift Sustainability Lab projects that address regional environmental challenges through innovation, collaboration, and applied research.
